Spirit Lake – Bank Midwest is excited to announce the promotion of Luke Donnenwerth to lead the Spirit Lake, Okoboji, and Wall Lake locations.
Donnenwerth joined Bank Midwest in 2010 and was most recently Vice President, Senior Commercial Lender for Spirit Lake and Okoboji. A graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, he began his banking career in 2005.
“Luke has a reputation for delivering a high level of service to his customers,” said Mary Kay Bates, President and CEO of Bank Midwest. “Luke lives by strong values, leads by example and his work in the community to make it a better place is exceptional. Bank Midwest is lucky to have Luke in his new role as Market President.”
“Continuing to grow at Bank Midwest is an excellent opportunity,” said Luke Donnenwerth, Market President at Bank Midwest. “Banking continues to evolve, and I’m excited to be part of leading the change. However, it’s important to me that while we may have to change, we must do it in a way that doesn’t compromise excellent customer service nor diminish the importance of volunteering in the communities we serve.”
When he’s not at work, Luke is actively involved in several organizations including YMCA of the Okobojis, Spirit Lake Youth Athletics – Board Secretary, Good Neighbor Fund – Board Chair and the Spirit Lake Noon Kiwanis, to name a few. Luke and his wife, Megan have three children.
