Spirit Lake, Iowa — Bank Midwest is pleased to announce a contribution to Hope Rolls – Dickinson County, celebrating the successful launch of its new facility in Spirit Lake.
The public grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony took place on Friday, May 2. More than 500 attendees explored the new facility and enjoyed lunch. The Dickinson County Cattleman grilled burgers, and $1,125 in donations were raised. Bank Midwest generously matched these contributions with an additional $1,200, for a donation of $2,325 to Hope Rolls.
Hope Rolls is working towards creating an inclusive environment for children and individuals of all abilities and ages. The organization is currently fundraising with a goal of $1 million to build an accessible community playground near Spirit Lake’s sports fields and Little League Park.
“By supporting Hope Rolls, we’re contributing to a vision where every child in our community can enjoy the simple joy of riding a bike and playing in a park designed for everyone,” Luke Donnenwerth, Chief Banking Officer from Bank Midwest. “We are thrilled to be part of such a meaningful initiative that aligns with our values of community support and inclusivity.”
