
New Ulm, MN – Bank Midwest is thrilled to announce the promotion of Shannon Hillesheim to Chief Banking Officer, recognizing her strong leadership, commitment to customers and communities, and proven success throughout her career with the bank.
In her new role, Hillesheim will lead strategic growth initiatives across Bank Midwest’s business lines, working collaboratively across the organization to identify opportunities, strengthen relationships and support the bank’s continued growth and success.
Shannon will also continue serving as Regional President, overseeing market performance and fostering collaboration across business lines to deliver a consistent, relationship-focused experience for customers.

Hillesheim joined Bank Midwest in 2015 and has led the New Ulm market since her arrival. During that time, she has played an important role in the market’s success while building strong relationships with customers, businesses and community organizations.
Her leadership extends well beyond the bank. Hillesheim is deeply involved in the New Ulm community and has consistently dedicated her time and talents to organizations, events and initiatives that strengthen the community. She is known for her willingness to volunteer, lend a hand and invest in the people and organizations that make New Ulm a great place to live and work.
