New Ulm, Minn. — Bank Midwest welcomes Justin Berg to its New Ulm market as an Ag and Commercial Lender. Berg joins the team following the retirement of longtime lender, Randy Reinarts, who retired at the end of July after many years of service to customers and the community.
In his new role, Berg will work with area farmers, business owners and commercial customers, helping them navigate their financial needs and find solutions that support their businesses and long-term goals.
Berg is a graduate of South Dakota State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics. His background in business and economics, combined with his interest in agriculture and the local community, provides a strong foundation for serving Bank Midwest customers.
A New Ulm native, Berg grew up in the community and brings a familiar connection to the area and the people who call it home. Known for his constant smile, he brings an approachable, relationship-focused style to his work. Outside of the bank, he enjoys spending time outdoors, including fishing, hunting and golfing.
“We’re excited to have Justin join our New Ulm team,” said Shannon Hillesheim, Regional President. “He’s knowledgeable, personable and genuinely enjoys working with people. We’re confident customers will appreciate the fresh perspective he brings along with the relationship-based service they’ve come to expect from Bank Midwest.”
Berg will be based at Bank Midwest’s New Ulm location and is looking forward to building connections with customers and businesses throughout the area.
“I’m excited to join Bank Midwest and return to the community I’ve always called home,” said Berg. “I’m looking forward to reconnecting with the New Ulm community, getting to know local businesses and farm operations, building relationships and helping customers work toward their goals.”
