In this expanded leadership position, Schmit will continue serving customers and communities as Regional President while providing strategic leadership for the bank’s agricultural lending division across its footprint.
A respected leader with deep roots in agriculture and community banking, Schmit brings extensive experience in agricultural finance, relationship management, and team leadership. His knowledge of the agricultural industry, combined with his commitment to customer success, makes him well-positioned to guide Bank Midwest’s agricultural lending strategy and support the evolving needs of farmers and agribusinesses.
