Fairmont, MN – Some of the best community memories don’t happen under bright lights, they happen on warm summer evenings, gathered around a stage with neighbors, friends, and family.
Those moments will soon be even better at the Martin County Fairgrounds thanks to a $25,000 contribution from the Bank Midwest Community Fund. The donation will help fund the construction of a roof over the fairgrounds’ entertainment stage, creating a more functional and welcoming space for performers, community events, and fairgoers for years to come.
The Martin County Fair has long been more than a week of rides, exhibits, and livestock. It’s a place where generations come together to celebrate local traditions, support youth, reconnect with friends, and create lasting memories. The new covered stage will enhance that experience by providing a reliable venue for entertainment, educational programs, and community gatherings regardless of the weather.
