The Bank Midwest Community Fund is pleased to announce its 2026 grant recipients, providing support to eight organizations whose projects and programs will strengthen communities, enhance quality of life, and create lasting, positive impact throughout the region.

This year’s grants support initiatives focused on education, childcare, recreation, community development, accessibility, environmental stewardship, and youth opportunities. Together, these projects represent the spirit of collaboration and community investment at the heart of the Community Fund’s mission.

“Supporting our communities is at the heart of who we are,” said Amy Radcliffe, Marketing Director. “As a community-focused organization, we believe our success is directly connected to the success of the towns and neighborhoods we serve. Through the Community Fund, we are honored to partner with organizations that are addressing important needs, creating opportunities, and making our communities stronger for future generations.”

The 2026 Community Fund grant recipients include:

  • Southern MN Crisis Nursery (New Ulm) – $5,000
    Adding fun and safety equipment to the Ivy House
  • Conservation Foundation of Dickinson County (Lakes Area)- $20,000
    Building a nature playscape at Kenue Park
  • Armstrong Betterment Club (Armstrong) – $5,000
    Updating swing sets at the community park
  • Martin County Fair (Fairmont) – $25,000
    Constructing a roof for the entertainment stage
  • Sherburn Civic Commerce Club (Sherburn) – $5,000
    Updating all city park benches
  • Sioux Falls Family YMCA (Sioux Falls) – $20,000
    Building a treehouse at Camp Leif Ericson
  • Friends of Windom Parks, Inc. (Windom) – $15,000
    Rebuilding Kastle Kingdom in the city park
  • Jackson American Legion (Jackson) – $15,000
    Constructing a Veteran’s Memorial

The Community Fund was created to support projects that enrich the places where our customers, employees, and neighbors live and work. By investing in local organizations and initiatives, the fund helps foster stronger communities, encourage growth, and address emerging needs across the region.

“These organizations are doing remarkable work,” said Radcliffe. “Whether it’s creating opportunities for children, improving community spaces, supporting families, or preserving resources for future generations, each project reflects a commitment to making a meaningful difference. Since its inception, the Bank Midwest Community Fund has provided financial support to numerous projects and organizations dedicated to enhancing community vitality and well-being. The Fund supports large-scale, community-based projects focused on the arts, environment, recreation, youth programs and long-term community betterment. Through strategic giving and community partnerships, the fund helps strengthen local organizations and create opportunities for long-term community success.
