How do I get checks? Are they free?
You can order checks when you open your account or anytime through online banking. Pricing depends on the style you choose. Your banker can help you place your first order.
How do I set up Face ID or PIN login for online banking?
Download the Bank Midwest mobile app, open Settings, and select Face ID, Touch ID, or PIN. Follow the prompts to enable secure login.
When will my mobile deposit post?
Most mobile deposits post the same business day if made before the cutoff time listed in the app. Deposits made after cutoff, on weekends, or on holidays are processed the next business day.
How do I complete a mobile deposit?
Open the Bank Midwest app, select Mobile Deposit, select Deposit a Check. Select your account and enter the amount. Take photos of the front and back of your endorsed check (be sure to endorse it with your signature and “For Mobile Deposit Only”) and Submit.
Keep the physical check in a safe place until you confirm the deposit is posted to your account, then shred it.
How do I set up direct deposit for my paycheck?
Give your employer your Bank Midwest routing number and checking or savings account number. They may also request a voided check or a direct deposit form.
How do I switch my automatic payments or deposits from my old bank?
Use online banking or the Bank Midwest app to set up new automatic payments using our Payments feature. For direct deposits and recurring withdrawals, contact our banking team and we can walk you through each step.
How do I switch my Social Security, Disability, or SSI deposit?
Visit ssa.gov, call the Social Security Administration, or visit a local office to update your account information. Have your routing and account number ready.
How do I sign up for electronic statements?
Log into online banking, go to Document Center. Agree to the terms and conditions for electronic delivery. Then under Delivery Preferences check the box for Statements under the Paperless Delivery Preferences section. If you prefer paper statements, the standard statement fee applies. Here you can also choose paperless notices and manage your email notifications to be alerted when a statement or notice is available in the Document Center.

If my debit card is mailed, how do I activate it?
Call the phone number on the sticker attached to your new card and follow the prompts. You will verify your identity and set a PIN.
I have not received my debit card. Where is it?
Debit cards arrive in a plain envelope that can look like junk mail. If it has been 11-14 business days or you believe it was thrown away, contact Bank Midwest and we will assist you.
