Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)

We’re concerned about the privacy and safety of children online and do not accept online requests from anyone under the age of 18. Our websites are not targeted to or intended for children.

Bank Midwest’s policy complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) gives parents control over what information websites can collect from their kids. COPPA requires that operators of websites or online services that are either directed to children under the age of 13 or have actual knowledge that they are collecting personal information from children under the age of 13 give notice to parents and get their verifiable consent before collecting, using, or disclosing such personal information, and keep secure the information they collect from children.
